Frustrating as dropping two points at home and losing Roman Torres to a red card may have been, those two issues potentially pale in comparison to news surrounding Jordan Morris’ injury.
The Seattle Sounders forward pulled up with a non-contact injury in the 61st minute with what has initially been diagnosed as a hamstring strain, an injury that will keep him out for a few weeks at a minimum.
“There’s nothing we can do about it today — tonight — so we’ll assess him in the morning,” Sounders head coach Brian Schmetzer told the media following Sunday’s game.
