Sounders play to a scoreless draw at FC Dallas

FRISCO, Texas – Both streaks continued. And both teams left disappointed.

The Sounders’ club-record unbeaten streak was extended to 13 matches Saturday night at Toyota Stadium, while FC Dallas’ winless skid went to nine games. But the outcome — a 0-0 draw — was far from satisfying for either side.

For the Sounders (11-7-11, 44 points), the tie was their fourth in a row in Major League Soccer. While they haven’t lost since June 17, they haven’t won since a 2-1 victory over Minnesota on Aug. 20.

More important, Seattle showed little offensive punch in its first game with Will Bruin replacing Jordan Morris as the striker, getting outshot 13-10 and managing only two shots on goal.
