Sounders open two international slots

President of Soccer Garth Lagerwey will have some more flexibility to complete his roster as Kelvin Leerdam and Jordy Delem have both acquired green cards and will no longer occupy international slots. The Seattle Sounders now have two open international slots and could open yet another one as Gustav Svensson was late to training camp while he worked towards his green card.

The club also announced that Tucker Bone left camp to return to the Air Force Academy. The cadet needs to complete his coursework and graduate before the Department of Defense will consider his entry into the World Class Athlete Program.
