Sounders left back Dylan Remick unavailable due to concussion

Due to Joevin Jones being on international duty on Tuesday, Seattle Sounders head coach Brian Schmetzer knew that he’d need to find a replacement for the match against the Houston Dynamo. The assumption was that Dylan Remick, who has been the backup for Jones most of the season, would be in the starting XI. But in the official club game notes, Remick is listed as OUT due to a concussion. When the concussion occurred is unknown; Remick hasn’t played for the Sounders since September 11 when he started for S2 against OKC Energy FC.

Rookie center back Tony Alfaro is the likely starter in the position, based on who the Sounders have available at the moment.
