Sounders Homegrown Player headed to Orlando City B

Jordan Schweitzer, the once Seattle Sounders FC Homegrown player, signed with Orlando City FC’s USL affiliate. Schweitzer spent the 2016 season as a regular starter for S2 providing four goals and two assists in 1685 minutes. S2 will lose a traditional defensive midfielder who is smart positionally, a strong passer and a legitimate scoring threat.

The decision to let Schweitzer go may be seen as controversial, but, for his part, the former Sounder leaves expressing his appreciation for the fans and organization.
