SEATTLE, WASH. – Seattle and Portland met in preseason action on Tuesday afternoon, taking part in a pair of 11-v-11 scrimmages at Starfire Sports. The first session went a full 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw, with Fredy Montero striking first for the Rave Green in the 62nd minute. Dairon Asprilla equalized for Portland in the 85th minute, 10 minutes after a full line change for Seattle that saw a full squad of Tacoma Defiance and Sounders Academy players enter the match. The second session went 75 minutes and ended in a scoreless draw.
