SEATTLE, WASH. – Seattle Sounders FC 2 today announced that it is has signed midfielder Charles Renken to its roster. Renken, 23, most recently played for USL's Saint Louis FC for the past two seasons, making 30 league appearances. He is eligible to play on Sunday afternoon against Sacramento Republic FC at Starfire Stadium (2:00 p.m. PT / Live-streamed on SoundersFC.com).
"Charles is a skilled player and we are excited to bring him in with the club," said Sounders FC Director of Player Personnel Kurt Schmid. "He brings a wealth of experience that improves the quality of S2's play, and hopefully we provide an opportunity for him to flourish within the organization.
