SEATTLE, WASH. – Seattle Sounders FC 2 today announced that it has mutually agreed to terminate its contract with forward Irvin Parra, effective immediately. Parra, 24, is set to join Orange County SC to be closer to his family as he and his wife expect their second child. The veteran forward leads S2 with six assists this season in 20 appearances.
“We appreciate Irvin’s efforts since he joined the organization last summer,” Sounders FC Director of Player Personnel Kurt Schmid said. “His experience and work ethic helped many of our young players in their development. We wish Irvin and his family all the best moving forward.
