There were supposedly about 1,500 tickets made available to the Seattle Sounders and their fans for next Saturday’s MLS Cup final. ECS got a few hundred, the Sounders kept a few more hundred to give to players’ families and such and the rest are in the process of being distributed to season-ticket holders through a lottery.
Suffice it to say, there’s a limited number and not every fan who wants to go will be able to.
Unfortunately, some fans have attempted to take advantage of this shortfall by reselling their tickets on the secondary market at significant markups.
