Sounders acquiring allocation money for Andy Rose’s MLS rights

With 14 players dropped from the 2018 roster, the Vancouver Whitecaps will be busy adding new talents to join new coach Marc Dos Santos. One of their targets is former Seattle Sounders midfielder Andy Rose. Rose is currently with Motherwell FC in Scotland, but is out of contract this summer. The Whitecaps will send the Sounders $50,000 in General Allocation Money in order to acquire Rose’s MLS rights per a report that Sounder at Heart can confirm.

Rose spent portions of the last four seasons with Coventry City in League One and Motherwell in the Scottish Premier League.
