The change to the 2020 calendar is just over a week away, and the Seattle Sounders are filling up more dates on their itinerary, announcing their 2020 preseason schedule Monday.
The team released the 2020 Major League Soccer season schedule last week—as well as the Concacaf Champions League schedule—but before they can get there, the Sounders have to get through the preseason.
The Sounders officially open their preseason training on Jan. 14 at Starfire Sports Complex, which is three days later than they are eligible to start training. It’s likely the team will use the extra three days for physicals and other introductory programs.
