Dear Sounder at Heart Reader,
The nation is in turmoil over the killing of black people at the hands of police officers all over the country. This is about the death of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Charleena Lyles, Alton Sterling, Tamir Rice, and so, so many others.
A social media movement arose on Tuesday that called for a pause on normal activity and content in lieu of the nationwide protests that have been happening. That movement is #BlackOutTuesday. You’ve probably seen several individuals post on various social media channels about it already, but we here at Sounder at Heart wanted to offer our support.
