The big event will come on Tuesday when the Seattle Sounders lead a march through part of downtown to celebrate the city’s first-ever top-division soccer title, but the team got an early taste of what it will be like when they returned to town on Sunday.
Despite just a few hours’ of notice, an estimated crowd of 500-700 fans turned up to Boeing Field to get their first in-person look at the MLS Cup trophy.
In addition to the Philip Anschutz Trophy and the full squad, Sound Wave was also in attendance to give the event an added festive vibe.
