Less than 48 hours before the second leg of the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals, Seattle Sounders midfielder Erik Friberg insists his teammates are prepared for the challenge that lies ahead.
"The team feels good," Friberg said after landing in Los Angeles on Monday for a final session before traveling to Mexico City on Tuesday. "We had a good training here today."
After a 2-2 draw at home to begin the series, the Sounders know with a win they will advance to the semifinals for the second time in club history. Friberg said that despite still being in preseason, he knows the team is up for the task.
