Right now, in addition to getting ready for the 2017 college draft, Seattle Reign FC’s General Manager and Head Coach Laura Harvey is preparing for the upcoming season as if she’ll be without Hope Solo in goal.
The confirmation comes from Equalizer Soccer’s Dan Lauletta, who also notes that Harvey said “Solo can play for the club as long as she wants.”
As of right now, U.S. Soccer has made no statement — either publicly or to the Reign — about Hope Solo’s potential allocation for the 2017 season. She is officially done with her suspension in February.
