John Hutchinson has been promoted from S2 assistant coach to head coach following the departure of Ezra Hendrickson to the LA Galaxy. As part of the move, Wade Webber has moved up to the S2 assistant position from the academy ranks, where he was the U18/19 head coach.
Hutchinson is relatively new to the organization, becoming Hendrickson’s top assistant last year. Prior to that he enjoyed a long professional career in Australia, most notably with the Central Coast Mariners, where he made 268 appearances and scored 18 goals as a midfielder. He also made 11 international appearances with Malta.
