Román Torres is one step closer to his World Cup dream.
On Monday, Torres was named to the 35-man provisional roster for Panama. The news comes as little surprise for the 32-year-old center back and Panamanian captain who scored the winning goal in the qualifying stages to send Panama's to its first FIFA World Cup.
The final 23-man rosters for each club will be finalized by June 4.
