Raul Ruidiaz wasn’t feeling great this past week and it turns out he still isn’t recovered enough from the heel contusion suffered last weekend in Vancouver to play Saturday night’s game. So, for the first time since last July, Will Bruin will be up top at striker in Ruidiaz’s place.
Everything else is the same for the Sounders, who will look to build upon their 3-0-1 record against a Real Salt Lake side that enters havng lost three in a row. It will be interesting to see whether the slower Bruin has any impact on the fast-paced starts that have typfied the beginning of Sounders games this season.
