MATCH RECAP: Two second-half stoppage time goals give Tacoma 2-0 win

TACOMA, WASH. – Tacoma Defiance (7-19-6, 27 points) on Saturday earned its second consecutive victory with a 2-0 win over Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC (7-21-5, 26 points) at Cheney Stadium. The club has recorded two straight wins for the first time this season and is now undefeated in its last three contests. Danny Robles and Josh Atencio each scored a second-half stoppage time goal in Tacoma’s first shutout victory since the season opener on March 8 vs. Rio Grande Valley FC.

After a scoreless first 90-plus minutes, Tacoma buried two goals in two minutes to earn the full three points.
