TACOMA, WASH. – Sounders FC 2 (5-20-6, 21 points) on Wednesday earned a point in a 2-2 draw with LA Galaxy II at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma. S2 is now unbeaten in six of its last seven matches in front of the home crowd. Alex Roldan scored his first goal of the season for S2, while Lamar Neagle netted his third goal in seven games in USL play.
Roldan started the scoring in the 31st minute with a blast from outside the area. He pounced on an attempted punch clearance by Galaxy II goalkeeper Eric Lopez and slammed his volley into the top right corner.
