Turns out that even though the Sounders won the MLS Cup, the rest of soccer did not halt. A lot of it did (or that was the international break) but turns out it did go on.

They opted out of the deal to buy CBA about two months ago but that was just because the deal was at a higher price than the shares were trading at.
