S2 will be the home of the final three Sounders draft picks. These three signings almost double the S2 roster for a new total of seven players.
While the Sounders were playing their first league match of the season, the Tacoma Stars were in San Diego playing what turned out to be their last. Having lost the first leg of a home and home playoff they were left needing a win in San Diego that did not come.
