Seattle beat up on the Portland Timbers this weekend, and in doing so jumped over their Cascadia rival to be in EIGHTH in the Western Conference. I get it, it isn’t that exciting of a position, but for most of the year we’ve sat in ninth and to move up in any format is pretty awesome. This result and some quality play midweek might see Seattle in playoff position as we travel to play Portland next Sunday. The West has consistently blown points to let Seattle have a chance and they are finally taking advantage.

San Jose Earthquakes 1 - Houston Dynamo 2: Houston is a team that we didn’t want to have momentum this week only, so the result is a tiny bit unfortunate but with HOU safely below us and SJ still ahead of us the result and points going to Houston was key.
