Major League Soccer will host its 2017 player combine and SuperDraft in Los Angeles next January, the league announced Wednesday morning along with the key dates for this coming offseason.
The league’s offseason window is typically tight: the roster freeze lifts the day after MLS Cup on Dec. 11, and the preseason officially begins barely six weeks later on Jan. 23. This year’s also features an expansion draft, to be held on Dec. 13 for league newcomers Atlanta and Minnesota.
