As expected, Jordan Morris’ return from his hamstring injury is being measured in weeks, not days, putting in doubt his ability to play again during the final six weeks of the regular season. Morris suffered the injury in Sunday’s game against the LA Galaxy when he pulled up with a non-contact injury when chasing a ball in the 61st minute.
“He’s been ruled out for this weekend, obviously,” Seattle Sounders head coach Brian Schmetzer told the media on Wednesday. “The MRI came back and showed a significant strain.
