Jordan Morris is good to go.

A week after a slight ankle sprain during practice in Charleston, S.C., the Seattle Sounders’ second-year forward said he is ready for the season opener on the road against the Houston Dynamo on Saturday (5:30 p.m. PT; Q13 FOX, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360AM). He traveled with the team to Houston on Thursday.

“[My ankle] feels great,” Morris said. “No issues with it.”

Morris missed the final Carolina Cup Challenge match against Columbus Crew SC last Saturday and had ended training early this past week.
