It’s cold at BMO Field

In what is becoming a recurring pattern, MLS Cup will be cold. The forecast is for low-to-mid-30s during the game, and a 15 percent chance of snow. Seattle Sounders practiced both in Toronto FC’s bubble at their facility and at BMO Field itself. Long sleeves, snoods and hoodies were popular.

With the windchill — due to 8 mph winds — it is expected to feel like 28 at kick off. Unlike last year, though, there was no Grey Cup played at BMO prior to this game and the field has drawn solid reviews from players and coaches.
