Sounders FC 2 winger Irvin Parra has been named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 7 after scoring both goals in S2’s 2-0 win over Cascadia rivals Portland Timbers 2 at the weekend. With the win over T2 last Friday, the Rave Green moved up to fifth place in the USL Western Conference with a record of 4-4-0.
Parra, 23, joined S2 midway through the 2016 USL campaign from German-side Kaiserslautern II and made an immediate impact with the club. He’s lined up in a variety of attacking positions in his time with S2, including as a primary striker and an inverted winger.
