Whatever pipeline that exists between S2 and the Seattle Sounders will continue to be tapped in 2017, as GM Garth Lagerwey said three more players will at least be in preseason training.

“I’m actually really excited about our depth,” Lagerwey said during a conference call with reporters on Friday. “[Oniel] Fisher is a good younger player, [Tyler] Miller, [Tony] Alfaro. We’re going to convert a guy from S2, Nouhou Tolo, to back up [Joevin] Jones at left back. We have young kids who will push them. That’s the right combination going forward.“

Tolo is a 19-year-old Cameroonian, who had a strong year after joining S2 from Rainbow FC.
