TACOMA, WASH. – A full day of soccer events is set to take place in the South Sound on Tuesday, March 3, punctuated by Tacoma Defiance Media Day at Cheney Stadium, followed by a public Tacoma City Council session in the evening that features information on the next phase of the public process surrounding the soccer-specific stadium that is being developed in Central Tacoma.
To begin the day, Tacoma Defiance is holding an open training session at Cheney Stadium from 1:00-3:00 p.m. PT that is fully available to media prior to the club’s third season playing its home matches in the South Sound.
