CARSON, Calif. – Sounders rookie Jordan Morris scored twice as Seattle came from behind to stun the L.A. Galaxy 4-2 on Sunday afternoon at the StubHub Center.
These are my first impressions:
– This time, Jordan Morris scored.
His breakaway in the 63rd minute of a tied match was reminiscent of the chance he had in Houston last month.
He’d come off the bench against the Dynamo, a break-glass-in-case-of-emergency sub by Brian Schmetzer in an effort to steal a game there for the taking. But put in alone on goal by Nicolas Lodeiro, Morris missed.
