– Clint Dempsey loves to torment the Timbers.
Early in the second half, Dempsey missed the type of chance you’d imagine him converting with his eyes closed for style points.
Jordan Morris had opened up Portland’s massed defenders with a speedy run up the right side, centered a pass toward Dempsey that rolled near the penalty kick.
