Since moving to Galatasary last month, DeAndre Yedlin has established himself as the starter on a team that already had entrenched right back who was sitting near the top of the Turkish Süper Lig table. Despite going into a seemingly settled situation, Yedlin’s grip on that spot is only strengthening.
In his fifth straight league start, Yedlin scored his first goal since 2019 when he collected a loose ball near the penalty spot and fired it through a mass of players.
Galatasaray has also improved their place in the table since Yedlin’s arrival, going 5-0-1 in his first six league appearances and moving to within one point of table-topping Besiktas and four points ahead of third-place Fenerbahce.
