DeAndre Yedlin planning to train with Sounders

DeAndre Yedlin is coming home. No, not for long and not to play for the Seattle Sounders, but the newly promoted Newcastle man is planning to train with his old team in order to stay sharp for upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

“I definitely needed a little bit of a break, but I love football,” Yedlin told Sports Illustrated. “When I’m gone for a week or two, I start to get the itch to get back onto the field. That’s the way I am.”

There’s been no official statement from the Sounders, but we can infer that Yedlin is probably going to be here next week, as the United States will probably start calling in players the following week ahead of the June 9 match against Trinidad & Tobago and June 11 match against Mexico.
