DeAndre Yedlin notched his second Premier League assist of the season, setting up an absolutely spectacular finish by Matt Ritchie that gave Newcastle a 2-1 win over Arsenal on Sunday.
It was Newcastle’s fourth straight win and they are now all but assured of remaining in the Premie League next season. They currently sit 10th in the table, 13 points clear of third-from-last Southampton. Yedlin has been a significant part of the success, with 27 starts in 33 games and nearly 2,500 minutes played.
It’s been a good week for Yedlin, who made quite a stir on social media when he posted a Lion King-inspired photo of him and his dog earlier in the week.
