SEATTLE — Cristian Roldan has never been a player to shy away from contact. Over the past two games, though, he’s been taking quite a beating. Against the Vancouver Whitecaps, he may have even suffered some genuine damage.
Roldan went down in a heap on the play Victor Rodriguez eventually scored the opening goal, stayed down for a couple minutes and eventually had his arm wrapped. Although he was able to remain in the match, he did return in the second half with a heavier wrap and appeared to have limited mobility in his arm.
