Seattle Sounders star midfielder Nicolas Lodeiro joins Uruguay in a quest to qualify for his third straight World Cup. This World Cup Qualifier against Argentina will be a tough test for La Celeste.
Argentina is stacked. They have Messi (he quit, then he came back), for sure, but they are so much more. The Argentines finished second in Copa America 2016 on performances by Zabaletz, Funes Mori, Di Maria, Mascherano and Lamela. Uruguay did not make the Group Stage of the Copa. They are currently first in CONMEBOL qualifying.
