Roman Torres’ longterm future may not be entirely secured, but it looks like he’ll at least be sticking around through the end of the season. His agent told a Panamanian news outlet that Colombia’s Millonarios had explored the possibility of a transfer, but the report suggests they were scared off by the Sounders’ $1 million transfer valuation.
“It is ruled out,” Edgardo Carles is quoted as saying in regards to a potential move.
That kind of price tag is more of a “make me sell” than a number that suggests the Sounders were seriously looking to move the 31-year-old center back.
