Reign FC fans, rejoice. The 84-year wait is over and the 2019 NWSL schedule has dropped.
Vlatko Andonovski’s squad begins the 2019 season on the road against Houston Dash on Sunday, April 14. Reign FC fans will have to wait the following weekend to see them in their new home, Cheney Stadium. Reign FC’s 2019 home opener on Sunday, April 21 sees Allie Long, Beverly Yanez, Jasmyne Spencer, Megan Oyster, and gang take on the Orlando Pride with a 7 p.m. kickoff.
Once again, the league goes with a 24 game schedule (12 home, 12 away), and with the club’s relocation to Cheney Stadium in Tacoma, comes the challenge of schedule congestion.
