With or without Richard Sherman, Seahawks need CB help in draft

With the NFL draft nine days away, Richard Sherman's future continues to be the biggest storyline surrounding the Seattle Seahawks.

But regardless of whether the Seahawks end up trading Sherman, cornerback ranks near the top of their list in terms of need.

DeShawn Shead held up well as a starter last season but suffered a serious knee injury in the divisional round of the playoffs and is unlikely to be ready for Week 1. Shead is on a one-year deal.

Jeremy Lane played mostly nickel last year, but could move to right cornerback in Shead's absence.
