I won’t belabor this, but I did not believe and do not believe the 2005 Seahawks were victims of a conspiracy. I think they were victims of circumstance, luck and bias. To put it glibly, the Steelers seemed to be playing a home game, and that, on top of them being the more fun, youthful and nationally relevant team, gave them considerable advantage. That for a time was intolerable to me.
