The Seahawks reportedly put in a waiver claim for QB Connor Shaw, who instead was awarded to the Bears on Friday.
It was easy to miss an item from the New Orleans Advocate on Friday that the Seahawks were among three teams to put in a claim for recently-waived quarterback Connor Shaw.
It was prematurely reported that the Saints had gotten Shaw (hence the interest in New Orleans on this) before it was revealed that the Bears had actually gotten the rights to Shaw, a third-year QB from South Carolina who spent the last two seasons with the Browns before being waived.
