Tyler Lockett in, Jermaine Kearse out as Seahawks’ starting receiver

The Seahawks made a subtle but significant change to their receiving position against the Rams, elevating Tyler Lockett ahead of Jermaine Kearse in the rotation.

That meant that Lockett played alongside Doug Baldwin in two-receiver sets and was officially a starter.

Kearse played in three-receiver sets and at other times in the rotation.

Lockett took advantage of the added snaps to make five catches on six targets in the first half for 65 yards.
