The 2025 NFL draft lined up well for the Seattle Seahawks. This was mostly due to the team trading quarterback Geno Smith and wide receiver DK Metcalf this offseason, adding a third-rounder and second-rounder, respectively, from those moves. The Metcalf trade might pay dividends for years.
But safety Coby Bryant might not be a huge fan of what happened. Seattle was able to turn the number 52 selection, which was added in the Metcalf deal, into number 35 via a trade with the Tennessee Titans. With that selection, Seattle took safety Nick Emmanwori.
The South Carolina product has great size at 6'3" and 220 pounds, but he also has elite speed and athleticism.
