Entering the final year of his rookie contract in 2015, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is set to earn his first big-money NFL deal this offseason. But the three-year veteran is already among the league’s most marketable stars.
Wilson was named the 2015 sales leader in officially licensed NFL merchandise on Monday, topping the NFL Players Inc. Top 50 Players Sales List for the second-straight year.
The list is based on total sales of “officially licensed products from online and traditional retail outlets as reported by more than 80 NFLPI licensees,” according to release from the NFLPA, with product categories including game jerseys, t-shirts, figurines, photos and more.
