The Seattle Seahawks are trying to win games in 2020 by having a great offense. How else to explain that they have spent millions of dollars on free agent acquisitions like Greg Olsen and Carlos Hyde, both presumed backups, but haven’t yet signed a top-end pass rusher. Seattle had cap space to begin the offseason but most of money is now gone.
Quarterback Russell Wilson made it clear this offseason that he wanted more weapons around him and the Seahawks have tried to do that. Seattle’s running back room by week 9 could feature Chris Carson, Carlos Hyde and Rashaad Penny.
