Tuesday the Seattle Seahawks made the moves necessary to trim the roster from 81 players down to 53. The moves included the release of three veterans who were not subject to the waiver wire and the waiving of 26 players who were subject to waivers.
The other 31 teams across the NFL all made similar moves, with hundreds of players hitting waivers, two of whom wound up in Seattle. Both Dakoda Shepley, claimed from the San Francisco 49ers, and Nigel Warrior, claimed from the Baltimore Ravens, were added to the Seahawks roster Wednesday afternoon.
