It looks like Darius Slay‘s time in Detroit has come to an end. The cornerback isn’t due to hit free agency until next year but the Lions are looking to trade Slay after contract negotiations hit a stalemate. The Seahawks might just be the place for him, though.
Slay and his cryptic tweets indicate he’s ready to leave Detroit in search of a big contract. Seattle, who need help at cornerback, could be the ultimate landing spot for him. The Seahawks are always in playoff consideration and Slay has only seen the playoffs twice in his career, losing in the wildcard round both times.
