Seahawks SS Kam Chancellor still not practicing

Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor did not practice Wednesday ahead of Seattle's Week 9 matchup with the Buffalo Bills on Monday night.

Chancellor, 28, was a nonparticipant in Seahawks practice on Thursday after suffering a groin injury in practice in the days leading up to Seattle's Week 6 victory over Atlanta and hasn't played in a game since. Last week, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll explained the injury was more significant than the team originally hoped.

On Thursday, Carroll told reporters the injury simply hadn't responded to treatment.

"After about 10 days he tried, and it just didn't feel right," he said.
