Fans of the Seattle Seahawks have grown weary of the team’s struggles at the kicker position over the past two years since Steven Hauschka was allowed to leave for the Buffalo Bills following the 2016 season.
In 2017 the team had Blair Walsh on a one year contract, and his multiple missed kicked in cold weather contributed to the team missing the postseason that year for the first time in since 2011. That led to the Hawks bringing in former first round pick Sebastian Janikowski and journeyman Jason Myers for a kicking competition in 2018.
